Bio

Bob Stegmaier has been engaged in all facets of photography for over forty years. He looks at life through his camera and creates images with feeling. His work has been displayed across America. Bob shows a flair for diversity, capturing images that provoke emotion.

While teaching physics at the University of Hawaii, he discovered his love of photography and was inspired by the natural beauty of the islands. When in the Air Force, he traveled across America and photographed the people and places of America and was enamored by the diversity and beauty of our country.

Bob taught photography at the Wichita Art Association in Kansas and at Utica College of Syracuse University in New York. Now he teaches local workshops. He has established a reputation as an accomplished commercial, portrait, wedding and fine art photographer.

He is a member of many professional photography and art organizations. Bob also serves as a judge for local camera clubs.

His love for photography and teaching is clearly evident in his approach to this visual medium that defines him.
